NeoProMedical Ankle Support Review

About a month ago I sprained my ankle  and it’s been a rather slow heal. While most of the time it’s okay, when I’m on my feet a lot the injury seems to flair up. So, I figured NeoProMedical Ankle Support would be a great product to wear on those busy days and when I’m exercising.

The support is made out of a neoprene material that is stretchable and should fit most sizes (up to an 11″ feet arch circumference). I’ve worn it several times all day and it’s been mostly very comfortable (more on that in a second). It’s much easier to use and offers better support than the ace bandages I’ve been wearing.

My only real complaint would be I wish the strap going around the ankle was just a tad bit longer. My ankles must be a bit on the bigger side because that strap is pretty tight and at times uncomfortable. I usually have to fiddle with it a couple of times to find a position that not digging into my skin. I’m hoping that the strap with stretch with use though and that soon it won’t be an issue.

Final verdict: Great support if you have a sprained ankle or need extra ankle support. At only $10 you’re getting a higher quality than most bandage wraps you can buy in store.

Ethereal Wellness Essential Oils Review

This Ethereal Wellness Essential Oil Set  comes with 6 popular scents: tea tree, lavender, lemongrass, eucalyptus, peppermint, and orange. The oils are supposed to be 100% pure and they have been certified by the Good Manufacturing Practice of Cosmetics and they conform to the purity standards set by the International Fragrance Association.  Each bottle should contain approx. 154 drops and have a 2 year shelf life.

The box they are shipped in is tightly packed to prevent spills and what not. However, I found it to be maybe a little too tight. I had significant trouble getting even just the lid off. And I had to break the box a bit to get the oils out.

I’ll also admit that the oils are a bit on the strong side for me. These are ones that without a doubt need to be diluted before using. I personally will have to decide if I want to keep them or give them away to a friend. Even just opening a few of the bottles and taking a small smell caused a headache for me. However, I am very sensitive to smells, so I doubt this is a typical reaction. It it hard for me to judge if I like the scents though because of this. I may try to make a few scrubs and try out the scents a bit more that way.

I also really like the e-book that you get with this set. It breaks down all the different oils, gives you a bit of background on each, and even gives you tips on how to use them. Many of the oils have multiple and can help with anything from allergy relief to household cleaning.

Final Verdict: Not my favorite of the oils that I own or try, but if you’re looking into essential oils this is a decent set to look at.

Febreze In-Wash Odor Eliminator

Let’s face it, odors happen. It’s just part of life and if you’re a pet owner like me, you know odors can be even worse. Their blankets build up a smell, not to mention the towels used when accidents happen. Having both a cat and a dog, the various pet odors I have to deal with are numerous. And sometimes, normal detergent just isn’t enough.

Enter Febreze In-Wash Odor Eliminator. I’ve always loved Febreze spray so I was excited to try this one out.

The first wash I only threw in one random towel with a normal load to do a test run. The second time, I wanted to really test it full out. That load included a fleece blanket and several towels that were really starting to smell horrible. It was a full load to say the least. I was pleasantly surprised when all of them came out smelling fresh without a hint of lingering urine or pet smells.

Febreze In-Wash Odor Eliminator is used in addition to your regular detergent, so it may take your laundry expenses up a little. However, with the average price being around $9, it shouldn’t hurt your pocket-book too much especially if you’re just using it on the heavier odor loads. Also, you can get a coupon for $2 off from their website.

Final Verdict: The fact it got out all the pet odors on the first try is a big thumbs up in my book. I’ll be adding a bottle to my laundry supplies for sure.
